A morning at Scammonden removing guards from some unexplainedly dead and dying alders. We will replant in the winter.

Cake was a very jammy bakewell tart. And the rain held off, mostly.

The righteous path

Spent a morning at the nursery with Dave, clearing paths and tidying up. Looking a lot better when we had done. Of course, next year, instead of spending three hours on my knees with a patio knife, I am gonna nuke the paths with Round-Up.
